Hello. I am Artie Simmons, musician, trombonist, electric bassist, drummer, arranger, composer, video, leader of "ARTIE SIMMONS AND THE JAZZ SAMARITANS." I perform with other musicians with my instruments as well as record with my group.
I work with my computer skills to produce original music and CD recordings of the groups material. I also video tape events for organizations and music groups in VHS or 8mm format.

I was born in HARLEM and went to school in manhattan from public school to High School. My music skills started in Junior High school on trombone. I learned Classical MUSIC at THE HIGH SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND ARTS. I self taught myself drums, bass,guitar, coronet and congas.
